MATERIALS TESTING

SO IT staff directed the technological change for a materials testing laboratory expanding into the global market. We designed a new operating model and technology upgrade plan to enable the laboratory to double the size of its client base while simultaneously lowering overhead. This included designing new IT systems, creating a new full featured on-premise Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application from scratch with integrated laboratory management, billing, customer credit, and double entry accounting systems, and implementing internal and client-facing process changes to properly align new IT assets, applications, infrastructure, resources, and effectively manage the laboratory technology budget.
